Welcome Dinner Gifts
Objective: Our goal was to create high-end, practical gifts for guests attending a large welcome dinner at the Hyatt Regency, part of a weekend-long wedding celebration. The hosts wanted the gifts to deliver a beautiful and formal “WOW” factor when guests returned to their room after the welcome dinner. Requested items included a bottle of champagne, bottles of water, chocolate, and nuts plus other snacks. The project required 35 gifts.
Solution: To achieve the “wow” factor, we opted for elegant gifts presented in gold baskets. We delivered the gifts to the hotel and partnered with the bell staff to deliver to guest rooms during the welcome dinner.
Contents: Each gift included:
- A bottle of GH Mumm Champagne with matching glasses (we are licensed to sell beer and wine!)
- Assorted Lindt chocolate truffles
- A locally made chocolates
- A tray of assorted nuts
- Four bottles of Fiji water
- A selection of cookies, pretzels, and popcorn
By choosing high-quality, luxurious items and presenting them in a sophisticated manner, we were able to deliver a memorable gift experience that delighted the guests and complemented the elegance of the wedding celebration.
Convention Registration Gifts
Objective: Our goal was to design and deliver welcome gifts which would be distributed to attendees during registration for a 4-day convention. The client requested that all items be locally made by minority-owned businesses, with at least three items per gift and a budget of $75 for 360 gifts.
Solution: Leveraging our strong connections with local artisans, we curated several product options for the client. We proposed packaging all items inside a small, reusable travel bag. Additionally, we requested our vendors to supply information cards detailing their company name, mission, and other relevant information to highlight the story behind each product.
Contents: Each gift included:
- A custom-designed sugar cookie from a local cookie company.
- A hand-poured soy candle from an Orlando-based candle company.
- Caramel candy from a local artisan.
- A scented room spray from an Orlando-based company.
By selecting locally made, practical items, we were able to create a memorable gift experience that delighted the attendees and stayed true to the client’s mission of supporting local, minority-owned businesses.
Pre-Convention Gifts
Objective: Ship 455 Florida theme gifts to upcoming convention attendees. The goal was to increase convention registration. Prior to sending gifts, registration was only at 11.4%.
Solution: We designed shippable gifts to be sent to attendees around the nation. A key element was partnering with our client to compose a very well written letter, expressing genuine desires to see higher registration numbers.
Contents: Each gift included:
- Laser Engraved Florida Cutting Board
- Locally Made Southern Cheese Straws
- Florida Wildflower Honey
- Florida Orange Marmalade
- Grapefruit Scented Candle
- Handmade Southern Caramel
- "Cup of Sunshine" Herbal Tea
By sharing items with a strong Florida feeling paired with a well written letter, our client’s registration rose 240% .
This strategy also eliminated the need to gift keepsake souvenirs while attending the convention, easing homeward bound travel logistics for attendees.
